Welcome To My Crazy Life
Hello and welcome! I'm so glad you're here! Please allow me to introduce myself. I'm Amy Talley. I live in a small city in southern Oklahoma. I'm a Christian, a wife, and a mother of 3 humans and 4 dogs. (Yes, you read that right, 4 dogs!) I met my husband, Chris, in September of 2001. At least that's when I remember meeting him. He remembers meeting me at his best friend's wedding 4 months earlier when I pinned his flower on the lapel of his coat before the wedding. He always says he must not have made much of an impression because I don't remember him. In September of the same year, he applied for a job in the building where I worked. Well, I noticed him then! In fact, he and another guy were applying for the job and I told his boss to hire him because he was cute! Probably not a good thing to admit to because I'm sure that's considered harassment or something! Anyway, I got to know him at work and the rest is history! We've been married for 15 years this year. Time flies when you're having fun! He is my best friend and biggest supporter and I love him so much!
Like I said, we have 3 awesome kiddos! Jordan is our oldest son. He is 13 and in the 7th grade. He is such a good kid. From the time he was born he has been such a joy! He's smart and kind and loves soccer and playing video games with his friends! Typical teenager!
Next, we have 8-year-old twins, Layla and Logan. They were born 12 weeks early and weighed 2 lbs, 13 oz and 3 lbs, 9 oz. Although they are twins they are opposites in nearly every way! Layla is strong-willed, athletic, and energetic while Logan is laid back, sweet, and mechanically inclined. I always joke that the only thing the same about them is their birthday. They even have different blood types! All three play soccer and Layla plays basketball too. During a typical soccer season we have practice 4 nights a week and games all day Saturday. That leaves Wednesday and Sunday for church and family time!
Needless to say, it's hectic. Throw in 2 labs (Scout and Oakley) and 2 yorkies (Duke and Daisy) and you have a crazy life but I like to say it's a Good Kind of Crazy!
Thanks for reading this! I'll share more stories about our life and adventures so stay tuned!
